Small and medium businesses in the United States are on track to spend $2.2 billion on enterprise software this year, up 10 percent from last year, according to AMI-Partners. ERP and CRM demand among mid-size businesses will help drive the growth, and vendors likely to benefit the most include Intuit, Microsoft, Oracle, Sage and Salesforce.com.
