Public Sector has been one of the leading industries driving the adoption of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) in Asia, according to Springboard Research. Government IT professionals are using SOA to reduce departmental silos and unify public sector infrastructures. The analysts said government interest in SOA is particularly noticeable in Australia, Hong Kong and Singapore. In addition, many government organizations in China and India have also deployed SOA or are in the process of pursuing SOA projects.
